The difficulty of getting your hair straight like this depends on your hair type. If your hair is normally straighter, this will be extremely easy. If you have natural curly hair, it will be a bit more tricky, but not impossible. Here are the steps to follow if you want to achieve this look:
1. Wash your hair and, while it's still wet, apply a heat protectant spray. Then slowly comb your hair. You should be gentle, because your hair is more fragile while it's wet and it is more prone to breaking.
2. Clip the top of your hair up. Then, with a round brush, take a strand of hair and brush it in a downwards direction, while blow-drying it. Make sure the blow-drier is facing downwards, because this way it will make your hair more smooth. Repeat for all of your hair strands, then release the top and do the same. Or, if you don't want to blow-dry your hair, wash it at night and leave it to dry 'til morning.
3. Once you've dried all of your hair, separate it again into sections. Take a strand of hair, comb it, then straighten it with a flat iron. Make sure you don't keep your flat iron too long on your hair, if you don't want to burn it. Also, do not use any hair spray or hair oils before flat ironing it, because it will fry your hair (it will act just like the oil in a cooking-pan).
4. Finish by applying a shine spray or serum, starting from the mid-shaft of your hair towards the ends. This will give it that natural shine look and it will make your hair remain smooth and soft for a longer time.
